I have to inform you that your letter of the 23rd instant, reference P/Misc.Hong Kong 1, addressed to the Secretary of St. Alfege's Hospital has been forwarded to me for attention.

A sum of £15.16.4d. was found on the patient on his admission to Hospital and the question of your application for refund of this sum will be submitted to the next meeting of the appropriate sub-committee of the Council to be held on the 9th proximo. For your information the full cost of the patient's maintenance and treatment is at present at the rate of £3.12.11d. per week.
